The Cancer Survivors Network is a free online community
created by and for cancer survivors and their families.
What is the Cancer Survivors Network?
The Cancer Survivors Network (CSN) was created by and for
cancer survivors and their families for the purpose of sharing their
cancer-related experiences, supporting one another, and exchanging
practical tips learned in living with the challenges of cancer.
The Cancer Survivors Network is available on the American
Cancer Society Web site at www.cancer.org
(bookmark www.cancer.org/csn).
The CSN online community of survivors and family members is a
completely free service available around the clock. An easy and quick
registration is required to fully access the community and actively
participate in its many interactive features. Members may search for
people with similar cancer experiences or interests, either by entering
certain demographic information or by using key words.
Interactive features of the CSN web service include: a private
and secure CSN messaging service, discussion boards, chat rooms,
Expressions Gallery, CSN member personal pages, and resources
contributed by members. CSN members may also receive a free community
e-newsletter each month.
