Stub it Out for Smokeout
Great American Smokeout's 30th Anniversary
During the last 30 years, the American Cancer Society's Great American Smokeout has played an important role in raising the level of consciousness about tobacco use and its deadly consequences. Extraordinary progress has been made in the areas of research, policy, environmental and societal change regarding tobacco use.

The American Cancer Society will continue to be a catalyst for change. Although great progress has been made, much more must be accomplished, and the American Cancer Society will stay at the forefront of the issue.
